People are talking as if the 2008 election were a transformative election where a new leader comes in to change the world, has long coattails that bring in many others of the same party and transforms the states in a more progressive direction.
We hope the first part is true, it looks like the rest certainly isn't, at least not in the South and maybe not elsewhere. Was this a wave election?
